MG Windsor Indulge Edition Launches at Rs 17.89 Lakh

JSW MG Motor India introduced the Windsor Indulge Edition with an ex-showroom price of Rs 17,88,900. This version brings fresh design touches and added equipment while retaining the 38 kWh battery pack and a certified driving range of 332 km. The automaker points out that the Windsor has been adopted by more than 80,000 households within a two-year span.
Shadow Gold Exterior With Black Details
The Indulge trim showcases a unique two-tone finish, pairing a Shadow Gold paint on the body with a black roof. Black rear-view mirrors and 18-inch black alloy wheels finish the look, and Indulge logos placed on the C-pillar set this model apart from the standard variants. These updates preserve the Windsor’s overall silhouette, using the new colour scheme and trim details to create distinction.
Within the cabin, the upholstery follows an Urban Tan and Black upholstery theme. The front seat headrests are embroidered with the Indulge script, while matching cushions and neck pillows enhance the edition-specific interior package. The vehicle continues to feature the 15.6-inch GRANDVIEW touchscreen infotainment system; combined with the fresh upholstery, it delivers a distinct cabin feel while the overall layout remains unchanged.
Rear Entertainment Screen And Performance
A notable new feature is the standard-fit PRIVE screen intended for passengers in the rear seats. The rear-entertainment addition complements Windsor’s emphasis on rear-seat comfort, including Aero Lounge seats that can tilt back as far as 135 degrees. An accessory bundle is also offered, comprising a rear sunshade, themed 3-D floor mats, chrome accents on the front grille, protective corner guards for the bumpers, side mouldings, and a leather-covered key. The announcement does not clarify if these items are bundled within the stated price.
The Indulge Edition is equipped with a 38 kWh battery and an electric motor delivering 100 kW (136 PS) and 200 Nm of torque. It carries a certified range of 332 km, while actual mileage will vary according to driving conditions and usage. The statement confirms this power-train setup for the Indulge version, answering a query that earlier previews had left unanswered.
Vinay Raina, Chief Commercial Officer of JSW MG Motor India, stated, “Windsor had encouraged buyers who were previously undecided about electric mobility to make the transition.” He characterized the model’s penetration of more than 80,000 households within two years as a significant milestone. Raina added that
