A Performance‑pack equipped Dual‑motor reaches $95,450 plus on‑road costs, a modest $100 decrease. These new base prices place the Coupe directly alongside its sibling, removing the previous discount that made the wagon‑style body appear cheaper.
The adjustment arrives after a Model Year 2027 update that refreshed the chassis but left pricing unchanged until the SUV’s launch prompted a realignment. By synchronizing the two line‑ups, the brand aims to simplify the buying experience for customers who compare the two body styles side by side.
Technical refreshes accompany the price shift
The MY27 Coupe receives a revised chassis featuring higher‑capacity passive dampers, altered spring and anti‑roll‑bar rates, and polyurethane rebound stops replacing the earlier coil springs. Steering precision has also been sharpened, giving drivers a tighter feel during quick lane changes.
Polestar’s CEO Michael Lohscheller said the upgrades make the Coupe “better than ever, offering a more refined ride with enhanced driving pleasure, and stronger sustainability credentials.” He added that the new suspension and steering deliver a more controlled ride across varied conditions, improving both comfort and agility.
While the naming convention shifts to simple labels—Rear motor, Dual motor, and Dual motor with Performance pack—the underlying power‑train specifications remain tied to Geely’s SEA architecture and a 100 kWh battery shared with the SUV. Because output and range numbers stay the same, the price alignment does not affect the claimed WLTP range of up to 630 km for the rear‑motor and up to 600 km for the dual‑motor version. The carbon‑footprint figures also stay the same, with a reduction of 1.1 tCO₂e since launch, now listed at 20.3 tCO₂e for Dual motor and 19.4 tCO₂e for Rear motor.
Looking ahead, the brand plans to roll out vehicle‑to‑load capability and a new Camping mode via over‑the‑air updates, extending functionality without hardware changes.

Each trim now carries a distinct interior colour treatment on seatbelts and the rotary drive controller: black for Rear motor, black with a Swedish gold stripe for Dual motor, and full Swedish gold for the Performance‑pack version. The Performance pack, priced at $7,200, is limited to Dual‑motor models and requires the $6,500 Plus pack first. It adds 22‑inch wheels, Polestar‑engineered chassis tuning, Brembo brakes, and Swedish gold exterior accents, creating a sportier appearance and sharper handling.
