Porsche GB marks 75 years with 911 GT3 special edition

Porsche has revealed a special version of the 911 GT3.
Both the name and design of the car are deliberate homages to the first model from the brand that arrived in the United Kingdom. That model, a 356, debuted at the 1951 Earls Court Motor Show, sparking a British enthusiasm for the company that grew over the following decades.
Appearing alongside the new edition at Silverstone will be a factory recommissioned 1951 356, finished in a matching shade of metallic green.

A nod to the 356 in every detail
The British arm of the automaker developed the Earls Court 51 Edition together with the factory’s Exclusive Manufaktur division. They used the 911 GT3 Touring as the base car, which means it lacks the rear wing of the standard GT3. A unique paint color called Earls Court Green was created for the car. It was chosen for its similarity to the green used on the first model from the brand displayed in the UK. The color also appears on the two-tone alloy wheels.
Brilliant Silver is used for the front bonnet stripe, which mimics the handle on the front of the early 356. The wing mirrors and door handles are also finished in Brilliant Silver. A special Earls Court 51 badge sits on the engine cover, inspired by the logo of Reutter, the company that built the bodies of that early model.
Modern performance underneath
Under the cover is the same 510hp naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine found in the regular 911 GT3 Touring.
The interior is where the nostalgia really shows
The automaker used a combination of Night Green and Chalk Beige leather and corduroy across almost every surface.

Limited to 51 cars, priced accordingly
The company will offer UK enthusiasts just 51 examples of the special edition.
Prices start at £251,951.
The limited options list includes a leather-trimmed front luggage compartment. The automaker says it requires 30 hours to stitch and fit, which they describe as a demonstration of what the in-house customization team can do.

Buyers also get a 1:18 scale model of their new car, a commemorative coffee table book, and an overnight Weekender bag made from the same Night Green leather used inside the car. As is now traditional for limited-production 911s, there is a matching Porsche Design timepiece available. The watch’s dial is inspired by the instrument graphics of the classic 356.
See it this weekend at Silverstone
Enthusiasts can see the limited edition for the first time during the Icons of Porsche, Sunstede Silverstone Edition event. It takes place this weekend, June 20-21 2026, at the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit and the brand’s experience centre. The celebration of 75 years of the brand in the UK also coincides with the 65th anniversary of Porsche Club GB. Along with the special edition, attendees will get a first look at the new 911 GT3 S/C and the Cayenne Turbo Electric.
Tickets for Sunday are still available, priced from £30 for adults and £20 for children. Those aged under 12 can visit for free.
